Obituary of Salvatore Avarella

Avarella, Salvatore age 56 of Wantage died Saturday, November 29, 2008. Born in Paterson he lived in Midland Park before moving to Wantage 15 years ago. Sal was a Union Carpenter for Andersen Interior Contracting of Fairfield, NJ for over 30 years. He was a member of Carpenter's Local 15, Hackensack, NJ. Surviving is his wife Sandra (nee Marcellari) Avarella of Wantage, his father, Salvatore B. and his wife Dorothy Avarella of Orange City, Florida and his brother, Russell J. and his wife Lori Avarella and their children Christian and Camille of Fredon, NJ. The family will receive friends on Friday 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. at the Olthuis Funeral Home, 159 Godwin Ave. Midland Park, NJ followed by a Service of Remembrance at 8 p.m. Private Cremation will be held. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Wantage Township First Aid Squad, PO Box 721, Wantage, NJ 07461.
