Obituary of Mary Torrento

TORRENTO, Mary (nee Perricone) age 93 of Waldwick, NJ formerly of Stonybrook, NY died peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2008. Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 3, 1915. While a resident in Waldwick she was a parishioner of the Church of the Nativity in Midland Park, NJ. Surviving are her devoted children, Annette Corbett of Waldwick, NJ, Joseph Torrento of Clearwater, FL and Michael Torrento of Wanaque, NJ. Mary also leaves six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband Michael in 1990. Funeral services will be held Saturday 8:15 am from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ., Funeral mass will follow 9:00 am at the Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect Street, Midland Park, NJ. Interment will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY. Visiting is Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
