Obituary of Mildred Pitaresi

Pitaresi, Mildred (nee Caporaso) age 86 of West Milford, formerly of Franklin Lakes died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at her home. Born in Moonachie, she lived for many years in Franklin Lakes before moving to West Milford 1 year ago. Mildred was an accountant for Tex Wipe of Ramsey before her retirement in 1994. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, where she was a member of the Rosary Society and served as a Eucharistic Minister. For many years, Mildred delivered bread donated by local supermarkets to Eva's Shelter in Paterson. Surviving is her husband John J. Pitaresi of West Milford, NJ, her daughter Robyne M. Hogan and her husband, Thomas of West Milford and her identical twin sister, Frances Scelzo of Moonachie, NJ. Also surviving is her granddaughter, Megan Rose Hogan of West Milford, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Entombment will follow in Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ. Visiting hours Tuesday 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations to Holy Name Friary, Att: Fr.
