Obituary of Gino D. Mateo

Mateo, Regino D. " Gino" age 85 of Midland Park died Thursday, October 2, 2008. Born in Bridgeport, CT he lived in Paterson before moving to Midland Park 51 years ago. He was a Marine veteran who served in WW II. Before his retirement he was Director of Real Estate for Gulf Oil Co. for 33 years. After his retirement from Gulf Oil he continued his commercial real estate profession with Bergen Engineering of East Rutherford, NJ. He is a member of the Midland Park United Methodist Church, Midland Park, NJ. Surviving is his wife Gladys (nee Chisman) Mateo, his children, Alan Mateo of Upper Saddle River, Andrea Mateo of Wyckoff, Edward Mateo of Warwick, NY and Michele Mateo Rusin of Hollywood, FL. Also surviving are his seven grandchildren. Visiting Sunday 7-9 P.M. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Service Monday 10 a.m. at the Midland Park United Methodist Church, 269 Godwin Ave. Midland Park, NJ. Interment Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
