Obituary of Joseph Cerami

CERAMI, Joseph P., age 91, died peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2008. Born in New York City, he lived in Rochelle Park and Westwood before moving to Midland Park thirteen years ago. Joe was a personnel manager with Curtis Wright Corporation of Wood Ridge until retiring in 1983. He attended Wyckoff Reformed Church and served his country during World War II in the United States Army. An avid hobbyist, he belonged to The Hobbyist Club of Ridgewood. He enjoyed playing golf and watching other sporting events. Joe is survived by his beloved wife Dolores (nee Branca) to whom he was married for thirty four wonderful years. He is also survived by his dear granddaughter Amanda Babb of Seattle, WA and his precious great-granddaughter Sadie as well as two sisters, Jenny and Lilly and one brother, Salvatore. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Funeral Service, Friday, 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
