Obituary of Pearl Schaper

SCHAPER, Pearl, age 84 of Midland Park died Thursday, September 4, 2008. Born in Midland Park she was a life long resident. Pearl and her husband Orie owned and operated Schaper Disposal Works, Midland Park where she was Bookkeeper for many years. Pearl was a volunteer at the Eastern Christian Children's Retreat and The Valley Hospital. She also served as Past President of the Ladies Aux. of the Midland Park Fire Dept. She was a member of Faith Reformed Church, Midland Park. Surviving is her husband of 62 years, Orie Schaper, her son, William and his wife Anne Schaper of Midland Park, her daughter Ida and her husband Michael McNamara of Colchester, VT. Her 5 grandchildren, William II, Holly Christina Monroe, Laura BethVierheilig, Sarah Elizabeth and Rebecca Pearl McNamara. Also her 2 great grandchildren, Ethan Monroe and Madelynn Joy Schaper. Her brothers, Albert Junta of Wyckoff and John Junta of Ramsey, her sisters, Dorothy Van Wieren and Catherine Davison both of AZ. She was predeceased by her son Albert J. Schaper in October 10, 2006. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Olthuis Funeral Home, 159 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park, NJ. Funeral Monday 10 a.m. at Faith Reformed Church, 95 Prospect St. Midland Park, NJ. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
