Obituary of Eve Jankowski
JANKOWSKI
Eve, 91, of Wyckoff, formerly of Fair Lawn and Jersey City, entered into eternal rest peacefully on September 1. Prior to her retirement in 1989 she worked for Nabisco in Fair Lawn as a cookie packager. Eve was a member of St. Anne's Church in Fair Lawn and St. Elizabeth's Church in Wyckoff. Eve was active in the Fair Lawn Livewires before moving to Wyckoff. Eve is survived by her loving family, daughters Jackie Yackovetsky and her husband Dennis, Michele Stevens and her husband Jeff and her 3 grandchildren Laura, Matthew, and Ginny. Eve is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews of the Mykulak family, Larry and his wife Margie, Billy, Pat, Linda and her husband Charlie, Denise and her loving partner Mark, David and his wife Kristin, Brian and his wife Lindsey, and Jean-Marie. Eve is also survived by many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Matthew (Mixie) in 1979 as well as her 12 brothers and sisters. Eve loved to spend time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She loved to do word search puzzles, watch her soap operas, and enjoyed a coffee and a jelly donut from Dunkin Donuts. The family will receive family and friends on Friday, September 4 from 4-8 at Vander Plaat Funeral Home (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 5 at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth's Church 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus.
