Obituary of Jacob Spyckaboer

SPYCKABOER, Jacob William age 91 of Midland Park, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2015 surrounded by his family. Bill served his country proudly in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a long time employee of Wyckoff Motors before his retirement in 1986. Bill was a member of the Christian Reformed Church in Midland Park. Surviving is his beloved wife of 67 years, Jacoba "Jackie" (nee Vander Byl), his children, Scott D. and his wife Linda and Nancy L. and her husband Michael Smith. Bill also leaves his four adoring grandchildren, Tricia and her husband Adam Caravaglia, Lori and her husband Manny Intorrella, Michael and Cindy Smith and his two great grandchildren, Brianna and Manny. The Spyckaboer family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Wyckoff Reformed Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Bill's name to the Midland Park Christian Reformed Church Tuition Aid Fund, 183 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park, NJ 07432
