Obituary of Constantine Remoundos
REMOUNDOS, Constantine Peter age 64 of Franklin Lakes Passed away in Prague, Czech Republic while vacationing with his daughter Teddi. Born in Albuquerque, NM, Dean lived in a variety of locations throughout the United States and Latin America. Dean did his under graduate work at Michigan State and received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Among his many accomplishments, Dean had a long career as head of investment banking for Citibank in Caracas, Venezuela and president of Interbank in New York. Dean was an avid reader and loved sailing and playing golf. He was a member of Venezuelan American Chamber of commerce, Brazilian American Chamber of Commerce, European American Chamber of Commerce, Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce, NJ Chamber of Commerce, NJ Business & Industry Association, CT Venture Capital Group, ACG, Turnaround Management Association, Indian Harbor Yacht Club in Greenwich, CT, IERG and the World Affairs Council of Connecticut. His most recent undertaking was the development of the World Affairs Council of New Jersey, a not for profit organization. Dean is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Hope (nee Veru), his loving daughter Teddi, his mother Presbytera Bessie, and his sisters, Karol Psomopoulos; Ellen and her husband Tom Wegert. Dean is also the son-in-law to Ted and Georgia Veru, brother-in-law to Dan and Stavra Veru and Peter Veru. He leaves his nieces and nephews: Andrea Psomopoulos, Philip Psomopoulos, Elizabeth and Dan Hutchins, Katherine and Phil Wittman, Olivia Wegert, Nicole Veru, Nina Veru and Theo Veru. Dean was pre-deceased by his father, The Reverend Peter C. Remoundos and his brother Lee Remoundos. The Remoundos family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, 5:00 until 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com) 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 467 Grandview Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Interment will follow in the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
