Obituary of Helen Kniep

KNIEP, Helen Ann (nee Bredt) age 85 of Waldwick formerly of Ridgewood, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Surviving are her daughters, Marilyn A. Swords of Matawan, NJ, Denise L. Sogorka of Toms River, NJ and Jill L. Stockwell of Lexington, VA. Helen also leaves her grandchildren, Thomas, Christopher, Brad, Jennifer, Lauren, Robby, Jaclyn and Bredt, great grandchildren, Colin, Jake and Ryan, her sister, Eleanor Roes of Mahwah, NJ and her nieces and nephew, Geraldine Venino, Robert Royce, Carolyn Hopper and Pamela Roes. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, August 17, 2008 at the Advent Lutheran Church, 777 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Waldwick PBA Local # 217, P.O.Box 166, Allendale, NJ 07401 or the Waldwick Volunteer Ambulance Corps. P.O.Box 244, Waldwick, NJ 07463.
