Obituary of Margaret Maguire

Maguire, Margaret (nee Ryan) age 92 of Ocala, Florida, formerly of Ridgewood, died Monday, July 28, 2008 in Florida. Born in County Fernanagh, Ireland she came to the United States on April 1, 1940. Margaret lived in the Woodlawn Section of the Bronx before moving to St. Petersburg, FL where she resided until 1983 at which time she came to Middletown, NY. Following which time she became one of the first residents of Ridge Crest Senior Housing, Ridgewood, where she remained for 17 years. In 2000 Margaret went west to California before finally returning to Florida. She was a Homemaker. Margaret was a former parishioner of St. Barnabas R.C. Church, Bronx, NY and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Ridgewood. Surviving are her devoted children, Mary Reddy of New Jersey, Charles and his wife Roberta Maguire of Tennessee, Patrick and his wife Georgieanna Maguire of Florida, Rose and her husband Andy Chalupa of Texas, Theresa Maguire of California and James and his wife Donna Maguire of Florida. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles in 1983 and her great granddaughter, Elizabeth Susan Reddy in 1999 and her 3 sisters, Mary Eves, Rose Gallagher, Bridget McKenna and her brother Felix Ryan. Visiting Friday 6-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass Saturday 9 a.m. at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave. Pompton Lakes, NJ. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice of Marion County Inc., P.O.
