Obituary of Nancy Shute

SHUTE, Nancy A., (nee Eager), died on July 27, 2008. Born in Weehawken, she lived in Waldwick most of her life until moving to Hawthorne, and then Mine Hill 8 years ago. Nancy graduated Waldwick High School and William Paterson University. She had been a member of the Waldwick Volunteer Ambulance Corps and a Volunteer at the Valley Hospital. Nancy was a nurse for 30 years as a RN and a BSN and was most recently the Administrator/Supervisor of Nursing for Morrisview Nursing Home in Morris Plains. Nancy is survived by her children Ryan and Meghan, her parents Patricia and Thomas Eager of Midland Park, formerly of Waldwick, and her sister Carol Williams of Gilbert, AZ. She is also survived by her fiancé Thomas Craggy. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ, www.vpfh.com. Funeral Mass on Thursday 10:00 am at St. Luke's RC Church, 340 Frankline Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, Payers will start at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home on Thursday at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at the St. Luke's Cemetery.
