Obituary of Anthony Agag

AGAG Anthony, age 86, of Wyckoff, passed away late Friday night, May 1, 2015. Son of Amina and Richard Agag, he was born and raised in Paterson, and then lived in Clifton. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After getting married, he moved to Wyckoff where he lived for 43 years. Anthony practiced dentistry in Clifton for 50 years before retiring at 80 years old. He was a member of the Passaic County Dental Society. He also taught dentistry at the Fairleigh Dickson University. After retiring, Anthony was an active volunteer at the Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff. He is survived by his wife Joan, his daughter Darlene, his son Richard, his grandsons, Alexander and Matthew, and his sister Dolores Tria. Visiting hours are Tuesday, May 5, from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 6th at 10:00am at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. Interment will follow at Valleau Cemetery, 660 Glen Ave., Ridgewood, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations in Anthony's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834 or the Christian Health Care Center Development Office, 301 Sicomac Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
