Obituary of Megan Healy

Healy, Megan L. age 54 of Franklin Lakes died Tuesday April 21, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ridgewood and has been a resident of Franklin Lakes since 1990. Megan was a 1979 graduate of Ridgewood High School and graduated from Douglass College at Rutgers University. Megan was a Benefits Consultant for 30 years and most recently at Buck Consultants in Secaucus, NJ for 20 years. She was a member of the Franklin Lakes Vol. Ambulance Corp. and was involved and competed in Irish Dancing. Megan is survived by her devoted husband, Fred Guido and her loving daughter, Grace Guido both of Franklin Lakes. Her brothers and sisters, Bernard P. Healy Jr. of Pequannock, Joanne Witney of Park Ridge, Mary Patricia Stagen of Passaic Park, Kevin Healy of Hillsdale, Douglas Healy of Lincoln Park. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Timothy, Kate, Erich, Brian, Lauren, Michael, Chris and Gianna. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary Pat and Bernard P. Healy formerly of Ridgewood, NJ. Visitation for Megan will be held on Friday from 3-7 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11 am at St. Elizabeth's RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ followed by the interment at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations for the future educational purpose of Megan and Fred's daughter, Grace.
