Obituary of Svea Holborow

Svea S. "Eleanor" Holborow passed away on Saturday, April 18, 215. She was 92. Born in New York she was a long time resident of Wyckoff before moving to Pompton Plains. Eleanor was an Administrative Assistant for James Talcott in New York before retiring. She was the longest living member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ridgewood and a volunteer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York Costume Institute. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Harold A., her son Peter, and a brother Leonard Swanson. Survivors include two daughters: Karen M. Doorley and Diane S. Holborow; a son Harold H. Holborow; 11 Grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Crest chapel in Pompton Plains. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018. Arrangements are by Vander Plaat Funeral Home - Wyckoff.
