Obituary of Harral Rickley

RICKLEY Harral C. "Rick", 72, of Waldwick, died Friday, April 17, 2015. Born in Weehawken, Rick lived in Spring Valley, NY before moving to Waldwick, 48 years ago. He served in the US Navy from 1960 to 1963 during the Vietnam War. He was a Dedicated Technician for Lucent Technologies before he retired in 2000. Rick was actively involved in Scouting serving as Scout Master for Troop 308 in Waldwick for many years. He was also a member of the Waldwick Lions Club, the American Legion and the Italian American Social Club of Waldwick. Rick is survived by his loving wife Judy, his sons Billy and his wife Heather and Christopher and his wife Kelly Ann; and 3 grandchildren: Chloe, Cassidy and Jonathon, all of Waldwick. Visiting hours are Monday 4 - 7pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass is Tuesday, 10:00 am at St. Luke's R.C. Church, 340 Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Interment to follow at St. Luke's Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Rick's name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
