Obituary of Eugene J. Cremins

Cremins, Eugene J., age 85 of Saddle River, NJ died Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Born in Boston, MA he lived in New City, NY before moving to Saddle River 20 years ago. Gene was an Army veteran who served as an intelligence officer in Japan during the Korean War. He was Owner and Partner of Cremins and Duncan (C&D) Associates, Hackensack, NJ, and until recently, he served as a Senior Advisor to the Board of the Contractors Register, Inc., Jefferson Valley, NY. Gene was a member of St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church, Ridgewood, NJ. He was involved with the Alumni of Colgate University and also with the New City Rotary Club. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Ann (Masterson) Cremins of Saddle River, NJ and his children Laura Cremins of White Plains, NY, Patricia Cremins of Brooklyn, NY and Thomas Cremins of Rockville, MD. Also surviving are his three grandchildren, Sontanna, Kellen, Brendan, and his two brothers, William Cremins of Southport, NC and Richard Cremins of Langhorne, PA. He will be missed by many across family, community, business, and professional circles. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 10 am at St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church, 169 Fairmount Road, Ridgewood, NJ. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY.
