Obituary of Mary Azzariti

Azzariti, Mary L. age 76 died Monday, January 19, 2015, at Care One at Valley, Westwood, NJ. Born in Jersey City, she grew up in Weehawken and lived for many years in Wyckoff before recently moving to Westwood. Mary was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Hoboken, NJ. She practiced many years as a Registered Nurse. She was a former parishioner of St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, Wyckoff and a member of the Wyckoff Seniors. Mary is survived by her loving husband, John V. Azzariti of Westwood, NJ, her children, Maryann Sayde of Princeton Junction, NJ, John V. Azzariti, Jr. and his wife Tanja, of Saddle River, NJ, Michael Azzariti of Charlotte, NC and Steven Azzariti of London, England. Also surviving are her six grandchildren, Allison Sayde, Matthew Sayde and Cole Sayde, Cade Azzariti, Max Azzariti and John V. Azzariti III and her sister, Marguerite Garvin of East Rutheford, NJ. She was predeceased by her siblings, Charles Anderson, Ann Higgins, Kathryn Walliser and Barbara Carluccio. Visiting hours will be Thursday, January 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, ww.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. For family and friends wishing to attend, prayers will be said on Friday, January 23rd at 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth RC Church, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
