Obituary of Louis Alberse

Louis D. Alberse, II "Lou" passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014. He was 53. Born in Ridgewood, he grew up in Ramsey, before moving to Manasquan. Lou was the owner of marketing and public relations company, Solid Oak Multimedia. Lou's father Louis N. Alberse died in 1998. Lou's memory lives on through his loving children: Tara Lawrence Alberse, Caitlin Nielsen Alberse and "LJ" Louis D. Alberse, III who will miss Saturday movies and "100 Granders" with his dad. Lou was and always will be Tara's biggest fan on and off the field. He was also the primary benefactor of the Caitlin Alberse shoe fund. Lou will be greatly missed by his mother Barbara, two brothers: Michael and Kevin, sister Kristin, three nieces: Madeline, Kelly, Shannon and his beloved dog Casey. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home,(vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave., Ramsey. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah. Contributions in Lou's memory may be made to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436 or to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.
