Obituary of Leonard Borst

Borst, Leonard age 83 of Mahwah died Sunday, December 14, 2014. Born in Paterson, he was a resident of Hawthorne and Fair Lawn before moving to Mahwah. He was the owner and operator of Borst Cabinet Co. of Ramsey, NJ for many years. He was a Navy veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. A member of the Christian Reformed Church of Midland Park he served as a Deacon, Elder, Sunday School Teacher and was involved in the Bible Study Group. Surviving are his children, Judi Vanderzee and her husband Frank of Midland Park, David J. Borst and his wife Yvonne of Ramsey, Kevin J. Borst and his wife Cheryl of Chester, NY and Patti Tamuzza and her husband Peter of Midland Park. Also surviving are his 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and his brothers, Hugo Borst and John Borst. He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia Borst in 1999 and his son Bruce Borst in 1983.
