Obituary of Joseph Palladino

Palladino, Joseph, age 97 of Wyckoff, died Thursday, November 7, 2014 at his residence. He was born in New York, NY and had lived in Paterson, NJ before moving to Wyckoff, NJ 46 years ago. Joseph was a Staff Sergeant in the US Army having served during World War II. He was a member of St. Elizabeth RC Church, Wyckoff, where he served as a trustee of the church and was a Eucharistic Minister. Joseph was a former member of St. Bonaventure RC Church, Paterson and a member and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Paterson Council #240. He was owner and operator of JCP Fabrics, Wyckoff, as an Industrial Fabric Broker until his retirement in 2012. Joseph is survived by four daughters; Mimi Gioia of Wyckoff, Diane Palladino of East Kingston, NH, Joan (Ron) Andriani of Franklin Lakes, NJ and Ann (Roland) Ames of Wyckoff. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his wife of 72 years, Josephine (nee Croal) Palladino on January 19, 2013. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. The interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
