Obituary of Joseph Ceresnak

CERESNAK, Joseph E. age 83 of Wyckoff, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Born in Jersey City, Joe lived in Guttenberg and Union City before moving to Wyckoff in 1961. His entire career was as a Sheet Metal Worker, primarily with Brisk Waterproofing Co. in Ridgefield, NJ. He was a member of SMW Local #25. Surviving are: his devoted son, Michael and his wife Charlene, their children, Lindsay and David Agar and Ryan Ceresnak, their grandchildren, Joseph and Mackenzie, his devoted daughter Karen and her husband Larry Allen, their daughter Devon and Daniel DeRose, their grandchildren Alexis, Collin and Ryan, and his son Randy Ceresnak and his family. Joe also leaves his brother, Aldrich Ceresnak, and his sister-in-law, Bertha Bacus. He was pre-deceased by his loving wife of 62 years, Charlotte O. (Waldinger) on December 9, 2013, and his son Steven K. Ceresnak in 1995. The Ceresnak family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O.
