Obituary of Felix Rozzo

Felix L. "Phil" Rozzo died on Thursday, October 30, 2014. He was 85. Born in New York he was a long time resident of Wyckoff. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Phil attended Admiral Farragut Academy in Florida and attended Florida Southern University. Phil was the third generation owner of F. Rozzo & Sons Seafood Company in New York City. Phil was a member of the New York Athletic Club for over fifty years, as well as the Italian Rifle Club - Tiro A Segno, and a parishioner of St. Elizabeth's Church in Wyckoff. Survivors include his wife Marilyn D. Rozzo, a son Louis Rozzo, a daughter Stephanie Brown, and four grandchildren: Louis, Jack, Jennifer and Christopher. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 3:00 - 7:00 Pm at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth's Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. The interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes.
