Obituary of Felix Rozzo
Felix L. "Phil" Rozzo died on Thursday, October 30, 2014. He was 85. Born in New York he was a long time resident of Wyckoff. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Phil attended Admiral Farragut Academy in Florida and attended Florida Southern University. Phil was the third generation owner of F. Rozzo & Sons Seafood Company in New York City. Phil was a member of the New York Athletic Club for over fifty years, as well as the Italian Rifle Club - Tiro A Segno, and a parishioner of St. Elizabeth's Church in Wyckoff.
Survivors include his wife Marilyn D. Rozzo, a son Louis Rozzo, a daughter Stephanie Brown, and four grandchildren: Louis, Jack, Jennifer and Christopher.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 3:00 - 7:00 Pm at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth's Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. The interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes. Contributions in Phil's memory may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
