Obituary of Linda Millian

Linda Lou (nee Wright) Millian entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday October 20, 2014. She was born in Englewood, New Jersey on September 26, 1939 to Edward A. Wright and Pauline Jackson Wright and was a life-long resident of New Jersey for 75 years. Linda enjoyed square dancing for 30 years most recently with Belles and Beaux Club and had served as President, Vice President and Treasurer. Linda authored, directed and acted in 10 murder mysteries which were performed with other club members each year in the spring. Linda lived life with excitement and sought to serve others through many organizations including Volunteer Ventures, as Docent for Bergen County Zoo, and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She played Mahjong, served on the Bergen County Election Board, mentored various individuals and was an avid reader of the Bergen Record newspaper every day. In addition to being a wife and mother, Linda also worked as a bookkeeper, retiring in 2005 from Spectra East Laboratories in Rockleigh. Linda was the beloved wife for 19 years of the late Charles Millian and loving mother of her two daughters Eva Marie Schuit and April Lynn Millian. She was a precious grandmother to Gabriella Lynn Merlano. She is survived also by her dear sister Diana Frei and Gail Earman, her cherished brother~in~love Bill & Pat Frei, her treasured sons~in~love Robert Schuit and Dousty Merlano, and her amazing nieces and nephews: Diana & Charles Concodora, Debbi & Bob Murray, Bill & Jennifer Frei, Bob & Pam Frei , and Patti & Mike Pinkus as well as many grand nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life at a memorial service to be held Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Hawthorne Gospel Church, 2000 Route 208 North, Hawthorne, NJ 07506 www.hgcusa.org.
