Obituary of Era Poulos

POULOS, Era (nee Sardelis) age 79 of Garfield, died peacefully on Thursday, June 12, 2008. Era was born in New York City and distinguished herself as an administrative assistant for the Bulova Watch Company before marrying and raising her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Xenophon Peter, her devoted daughters, Stephanie and her husband Peter Griffoul and Debra Donnelly and her husband Bill Tsigaras, and four grandchildren, Christopher, Gregory, Steven and Nicole, all of Allendale. Funeral services will be Monday, 10:00 am at St.Nicholas G.O. Church, 467 Grandview Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Interment will follow in the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting is Sunday 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Nicholas G. O. Church.
