Obituary of Jacoba Beauchamp

Jacoba Beauchamp (nee Bush), age 94, died peacefully at the Christian Health Care Center on Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Born in Midland Park, she was a life-long resident. Jacoba was a licensed practical nurse with Valley Hospital, Ridgewood for 18 years, before retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Midland Park Christian Reformed Church where she was involved in the Ruth Circle. She is survived by her two loving children; Wilma Nydam and her husband Jack of Palm Coast, FL, and Arthur Beauchamp and his wife Lynn of Wantage, NJ. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, her sister Gertrude Phelps of Universal City, TX, and her two brothers Douglas Bush of Grand Rapids, MI and Harvey Bush of Inverness, FL. Jacoba was predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Otto H. Beauchamp in 1999, her sisters Ann Tousley, Jean VanWyck, Berdina Bush and Anna Bush and her brother William Bush. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Olthuis Funeral Home, 159 Godwin Ave. Midland Park. A funeral service will take place on Monday, 10 AM at Olthuis Funeral Home followed by interment at Valleau Cemetery, Ridgewood.
