Obituary of William Taenzer

TAENZER, William G., age 78 of Glen Rock, died Thursday, May 15, 2008. Bill was born in Englewood, on September 8, 1929 and was a resident of Glen Rock for 37 years. Bill was a veteran having served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked for the Village of Ridgewood, Parks and Recreation Dept. until he retired in 1993. Prior to he worked for the Bendix Corporation, Teterboro, NJ. He is survived by his wife Dolores (nee Wacha), his daughters Laura Ann Taenzer of Babylon, NY and Christine Helen Taenzer of Rochelle Park, NJ and his son Steven William of Pine Bush, NY. Your memory will live in our hearts forever, we love you. Visiting is Sunday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service is Monday 11:00 am at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481, www.vpfh.com. Interment will follow at the George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
