Obituary of Robert A. Scavone

SCAVONE, Robert A., age 77, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, May 12, 2008. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Waldwick, NJ for the past 46 years. Robert was a Wall Street executive with Scavone, McKenna, Cloud, New York, NY. He was a member of the New York Stock Exchange, Knights of Malta, and Knights of Columbus. He was a parishioner of Church of the Nativity, Midland Park, NJ. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his five sons and one daughter; Robert A., Jr. and his wife Eileen of Franklin Lakes, NJ, Stephen M. and his wife Lisa of Mahwah, NJ, Thomas E. and his wife Gwen of Wyckoff, NJ, Edward J. and his wife Christine of Mahwah, NJ, Kathleen Scavone of Waldwick, NJ and James J. and his wife Raffaela of Ramsey, NJ. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and his two brothers; Carmine of Cranbury, NJ and Daniel of Neptune, NJ. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen (nee Carraher) in 2004. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday evening, 7-9 PM and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect Street, Midland Park, NJ 07432. Funeral Mass, Friday, 12:00 at Church of the Nativity. Interment, St. Luke's Cemetery, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hackers for Hope P.O.
