Obituary of Carl Schiemann

Schiemann, Carl F. age 82 of Wyckoff died Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Born in Weehawken, he lived in West New York before moving to Wyckoff 39 years ago. Carl was a Navy veteran who served from 1946 to 1950. Before his retirement he was an Aircraft Mechanic for American Airlines, Newark and JFK. He was a member of Advent Lutheran Church, Wyckoff. He was a member of the Transport Workers Union, Air Transport Division, NY, NY and the NY-NJ Trail Conference, Mahwah, NJ. Surviving are his daughter, Suzanne Schiemann, his sister Marie and her husband Bill Sprankel. Also surviving are his niece and godchild, Lynn and her husband Michael Carlson, his niece, Laura and her husband Albert Baselice and his nephew, Mark and his wife Marianne Sprankel as well as several grand nieces and nephews and his dear friends, Jack Hennerty and Suzanne Hennerty. He was predeceased by his wife Eva A. Schiemann in 2004 and his brother William in 2001.
