Obituary of Joseph A. Holl

Holl, Joseph A. age 82 of North Key Largo, Florida died Sunday, May 4, 2008. Born in Highlands, NJ he lived in Upper Saddle River and was a former resident of Ramsey and North Key Largo, FL. He was a 1949 Graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ. Joseph was the owner of National Electronic Transit Corp. Lyndhurst, NJ for over 45 years before his retirement in 1993. He served as a pilot in the US Navy from 1943-1945. He was a former member of the Upper Montclair C.C. and the Ocean Reef Club of North Key Largo, Fl. He was a parishioner of The Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River, NJ. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alice M. (nee Andre) Holl, his daughters, Lynn and her husband Gunther Nellen of West Palm Beach, FL and formerly of Upper Saddle River, Janet and her husband Stephen White of Ho-Ho-Kus. His son, Joseph and his wife Ruth-Ann Holl of Ramsey. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Kevin and Katie Nellen, Ryan and Lindsay White, Elizabeth and Joseph Holl and his sister, Mildred Brightly of Mahwah. He was predeceased by his brother, Arthur P. Holl. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass Thursday, 10 a.m. at St. Paul R.C. Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave. Ramsey, N.J. Entombment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
