I was fortunate enough to work with Jen very early in my career. Her energy and enthusiasm were infectious. She will be missed terribly.

During the last several months as we prayed and hoped against this day I noticed two quotations that I felt reflected our Jennifer.
The first was from St Paul's second letter to Timothy. " I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful". I don't believe that Jen ever backed down from a challenge - even her last battle that she faced with such courage and dignity.
The second was from George Bernard Shaw, who wrote "I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the community, and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work , the more I live. Life is no 'brief candle' to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to the future generations."
Jen's life and accomplishments have lit up many lives near and far. My own memories will always let me remember Jen with a smile, There were very many happy times
Love,
Uncle Jim

There are some people who 'are' good. Other that 'do' good. And others still who 'make' good. Jen was unique because she did all three - everyday. And having known her since I was 19 at Skidmore, I can tell you that this was not a cultivated skill that was the result of being around marketing, communications or reputation management. She was this good, this emotionally honest, this generous, because it was her gift, it was who she was, and a gift that she shared with so many of us - everyday. I am blessed that she factored into every decade of my adult life and even one as a teenager. There was never a moment when she couldn't look me in the eyes and not know if i was happy, sad, in distress or needing help. So with tears in my eyes, I am forced to say farewell to a friend who was supposed to be a friend for life. But when I look around at all the good that Jen did for me - and for all of us. I realize that so much of who Jen is will stay with me forever. Bless you Jenny. I love you still and will miss you always. Thank you.

My dear friend Jennifer, I know you missed Maggie too much so you had to be with her. It makes me sad that you are both gone now. I will always miss you both until we are all together again. The only consolation, for we who are left behind, is that you went peacefully and at home. For that I am glad. The pain and struggles are over. So now I have one more Angel in heaven watching over me. Please do a good job, I need it. For the Landers and extended family, you are all in my prayers now. God Bless. John

I will always treasure the years I spent working with Jennifer at Hyperion, a formative time for all of us that she lit up with her incredible energy and humor on a daily basis. I loved her then and ever since. My deepest sympathies for your loss.
