Obituary of Amelia Zvaleuskas
Amelia "Millie" Zvaleuskas passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. She was 86. Born in New York City she lived in North Bergen before moving to Wyckoff. Millie was a light bulb inspector at Duro Test Corporation in Clifton before retiring in 1990. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Queen of Peace Church in Maywood. Her husband John J. Zvaleuskas died in 1976. She was predeceased in death by her siblings: Theodore, Josephine and Gabriel. Survivors include her three children: Monica (Robert) Michel, Joseph (Tina) Zvaleuskas, and Elena (Andrew) Zacharia, 3 grandchildren: Jessica, John Paul and Amelia, 2 Sisters: Camille Porcaro, Antoinette Podesta, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 400 Maywood Ave., Maywood. The interment will follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx, NY. Contributions in Millie's memory may be made to the Holy Name Medical Center, Multiple Sclerosis Center, 718 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck, NJ 07666.
