Obituary of Carolyn Brown
BROWN
Carolyn, 86, of Mt. Arlington, formerly of Wyckoff, died Saturday, March 12, 2016. Born in Wyckoff, she lived in Wyckoff for 30 years, retiring to Chatham, MA in 1990. She moved back to New Jersey in 2004 to be closer to family.
Carolyn was a secretary for the Wyckoff Board of Education, working in Lincoln and Eisenhower Schools. She was also an avid gardener and flower arranger winning many awards. She was also a member of the Wyckoff Reformed Church.
She is survived by her devoted children: Katie and her husband Jorge Lengyel of Sparta, NJ, Lisa and her husband Dennis Klemm of Jefferson, NJ and Craig Brown and his wife Christa of East Aurora, NY; her 6 adoring grandchildren: Allyson, Nicholas, Corey, Eric, Olivia and Sara, and 2 great grandchildren: Paige and Leo. Carolyn is also survived by her companion of the last 3 years, John Celauro.
Carolyn was predeceased by her loving husband Roger in 2007 and her grandson Timothy in 2011.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Wyckoff Reformed Church Cemetery.
