Obituary of Minnie De Witte

Minnie De Witte, age 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Born and raised in Wyckoff, Minnie lived in Waldwick, where she and her husband Jim raised their family before moving to Mahwah in 1973. Min was a member of the Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church in Wyckoff, where she attended Ladies Society and was a Pioneer Girl Leader. Surviving are her devoted children, Linda and her husband Scott Spyckaboer, Sandra Ruit and James W. De Witte. Loving grandmother of Tricia (Adam Caravaglia), Lori (Manny Intorrella), Steven Ruit (Jessica), Beth (Greg Brown), and Kenneth De Witte (Roxanne). Great grandmother to Brianna, Manny, Lucas, Tyler, Julianna, Gabriella and Evan. Min also leaves her twin sister, Anna Braunius, her brother-in-law, William De Witte (Carolyn), and her sister-in-law, Rita De Witte. Due to the ever changing scenario of the Covid-19/Coronavirus situation, Min’s family has decided to hold the memorial service at a later date. Once a date has been decided, the website will be updated accordingly. The family thanks you for your understanding in this matter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Min’s name may be made to the Mahwah Volunteer Ambulance Corps #1, 258 Franklin Tpk., Mahwah, NJ 07430.
