Obituary of Marietta Brydon
Marietta Brydon, (nee Wetzel) age 95 of Mahwah died Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Born and raised in Butler, she moved to Rutherford in 1946 and lived there until 1973, she then relocated to Margate, FL and finally settling in Mahwah in 1991.
Marietta was a graduate of Butler High School, Class of 1942. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception RC Church, Mahwah and a member of the Society of the Daughters of Holland Dames.
Surviving is her daughter, Susan Brydon Golz and her husband, William of Mahwah and her son Richard Brydon of Alamogordo, NM. Also surviving are her two grandchildren, William and Michael Golz and her two great grandchildren, Jude Golz and Nova Golz. She was predeceased by her husband Victor in 1990.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10-12 noon at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ followed by a Funeral Service at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Redeemer Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
