Obituary of Marion P. O'Donnel

Marion P. O’Donnel passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Born in the Bronx, NY, she was a resident of Old Tappen and Upper Saddle River.  Marion was a homemaker, a devout parishioner at St. Gabriel’s Church in Saddle River and a dedicated mother to her children: Mary V. Dillon, Kevin J. O’Donnel, Julie A. Lutrario, Jackie T. Donovan, Tara P. O’Donnel, Hilary J. Esposito, Gregory P. O’Donnel; a loving grandmother to 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Marion is survived by her cherished  husband of 62 years, William I. O’Donnel. She is predeceased by two sons: Michael and William. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Gabriel’s Church, 88 E. Saddle River Rd., Saddle River. Interment will follow at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill, NY.
