Obituary of Joyce Salvi

Joyce C. Salvi, 76, of Wyckoff, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2017 surrounded by her family.  Born in East Paterson, she graduated from Benedictine Academy in 1958 and attended William Paterson College where she majored in teaching.  Joyce married Jerry Salvi and moved to Wyckoff 50 years ago.  Joyce was involved with the Sicomac School PTO and was very active in the Fardale Trinity Church.  She was as an accountant for several businesses.  Joyce’s love for family and friends, and her generosity of spirit will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Gerald, her children, Pamela Jordan of Goshen, NY, Gerald, Jr. and Celine of Wyckoff, NJ, and John and Natalie of New Milford, NJ, her grandchildren, Melissa, Meredith, Jacqueline, Christopher, Katie, Morgan, Matthew, Victoria and Sophia, and her cousin Carol Schaefer of Franklin Lakes.

The family will receive friends on Sunday 6 - 8 pm at the Fardale Trinity Church, 73 Chapel Road, Mahwah, NJ 07430.  Burial guests will meet at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff at 10:30 am on Monday for a 11:30am graveside service at the East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Ave., Clifton.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm at the Fardale Trinity Church.
