Obituary of Deborah Busch

Busch, Deborah (nee Keyes) of Ho-Ho-Kus died Thursday, March 9, 2017. Born in Englewood, N.J. she lived in Ho-Ho-Kus for the last 63 years. Before becoming a devoted wife and mother, Debbie enjoyed a career with the Ford modeling agency in New York. She also attended the Katharine Gibbs School and worked at JC Penny, both also in New York City. Debbie enjoyed summers on Cape Cod, large bowls of ice cream, and the color lavender. She loved her N.Y. Yankees and Golden Retreivers, as well as tea parties with her granddaughters. Her apple pies were legendary as was her ability as a seamstress. She completed the New York Times crossword puzzles in ink. No one who knew her will ever forget her infectious laugh. Surviving is her son, Jeffrey (Nancy) Busch of Trumbull, CT, her daughters, Jeanne (Bruce) Hamlin of Totowa, NJ and Laura (Bob) Morris of Stewartsville, NJ and her daughter in law, Lisa Busch Greenberg of Old Tappan, NJ. Also surviving are her 8 grandchildren: Todd and Jill Hamlin, Andrew and David Busch, Amanda Morris Hodge and Kelly Morris and Jack and Emma Busch. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Roy A. Busch, and by her sons, David Edward Busch and Peter Dunton Busch. Private interment will be held in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Church of Ho-Ho-Kus, 400 Warren Avenue, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ 07423 where she was a member for 76 years.
