Obituary of Florence De Vries

De Vries, Florence (nee Vander Meer) age 95 of Mahwah died peacefully on Monday, March 6, 2017. Born in Warns Friesland, The Netherlands she came to the United States in 1950 and moved to Mahwah in 1954. Florence was a Homemaker. Surviving are her loving children, Hilda Godding Murken (Bob) of Mahwah, Wilbert De Vries of Honesdale, PA and Rena Van Dyke of Mahwah. Also surviving are her 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband Hendrik “Henry” De Vries in 1999. Visiting Wednesday 4-8 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ. A funeral service will be held Thursday 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by the interment in Mahwah Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations to a Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
