Obituary of Gladys H. Lont

Lont, Gladys H. (nee Hartley) age 101 died Friday, April 29, 2016. Born in Paterson, NJ, she lived in Hawthorne most of her life, before moving to Mahwah. Gladys was a member of the Gideons International, the Christian Women’s Club, a volunteer at Valley Hospital for 20 years and at Van Dyk’s Manor for over 43 years where she played the organ. Surviving are her children, Carol, and her husband Edward Galenkamp, and Kenneth and his wife, Judy Lont, both of Wyckoff, as well as five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas Lont in 1993. Receiving of Friends will be held on Sunday, May 29, from 5:00 - 6:00 pm, with a Memorial Service immediately following at Cornerstone Christian Church, 495 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ.
