Obituary of Lois C. Weiss

Lois C. Weiss passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. She was 87. Born in Paterson, NJ, she was a resident of Wyckoff before moving to Mahwah. Lois was a homemaker and a member of the Wyckoff Assembly of God Church. Lois is predeceased by her brother Albert Weiss and two sisters: Marjorie Weiss and June Weiss. She is survived by her two sisters: Doris Van Dyke, Arlene Weiss, her brother Robert “Bob” Weiss and six nieces and nephews: Jack Van Dyke, his wife Mary Lou, Alan Van Dyke, his wife Joy, Robert Weiss, Jr., his wife Cyndi, Rebecca Matteson, her husband David, Rachel Horn, her husband Jay, Aaron Weiss and his wife Karly. Lois is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30th from 9:00 a.m. until service time beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lois’ memory may be made to the Wyckoff Assembly of God Church, 139 Franklin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
