Obituary of Janet Pinkney

Pinkney, Janet, age 79 of Wyckoff, died peacefully with her dear friends at her side on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Christian Health Care Center, Wyckoff. Janet was born in Paterson, NJ and was a longtime resident of Wyckoff. Janet graduated from New York University with a Master’s Degree in Education. Prior to her retirement, Janet was a Library Technician with the Johnson Public Library, Hackensack, NJ, where she was employed for 31 years. Janet is a former member of Christ Church in Hackensack. Janet is survived by her longtime friends and caregivers, Susan and Robert J. Wiuff of Wyckoff. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 13 at 10:30 AM at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ. As an expression of sympathy, contributions in Janet’s memory may be made to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436.
