Obituary of Daniel Giletta

GILETTA, Daniel age 21 of Wyckoff, an Electrical Engineering student at Villanova University, died suddenly on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 in Haverford, PA. Born in Ridgewood, Daniel was a lifelong resident of Wyckoff. He was a graduate of St. Elizabeth's Elementary School and Bergen Catholic H.S. in 2007. Daniel was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity at VU. He loved baseball, skateboarding, paintball, video games, his family and many friends. Daniel is survived by his loving parents, Bernard and Sigrun (nee Beck) Giletta of Wyckoff and his brothers Bernie and his wife Ann of Wyckoff and Paul of Hawthorne. He also leaves his twin nieces Claire and Katherine, his aunts and uncles both here in the states and in Germany and his many cousins. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, 11:15 AM at St. Elizabeth's R. C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff. Interment will follow in Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes. Visiting is Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff.
