Obituary of Frank Antman

Frank J. Antman, age 83 died peacefully on Sunday, December 24, 2006 at home in Wyckoff. Frank was born in Passaic, NJ on August 23, 1923 and was a resident of Wyckoff. Frank was an Electrical Engineer for the New York Telephone Company for over 50 years and during his career, he invented the first hands-free communications system. Frank served his country during World War II in the United States Army. Surviving are his wife, Ninette (nee Mercier), his daughters Ninette Grannis of Montvale, Linda Leuthold of Kinnelon and Lori Antman of Galveston, TX; his 5 grandchildren, Richard and Robert Grannis, Eric Leuthold, Kristen Luttenberger, and Ariel Antman-Kennedy; his 6 great grandchildren and his sister Margaret Dye of Vergennes, VT. Visiting Hours are Thursday, December 28, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, December 29 at 10:00 AM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Entombment will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Memorial Program, P.O.
