Obituary of Carmine Makris

Carmine Mary Makris (nee Di Petrillo) age 90, wife of the late Peter J. Makris, of Waldwick died Monday, August 2, 2010. Born in Paterson she lived in Waldwick for 35 years. She was a Sales Representative for Lord & Taylor of Ridgewood before her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Luke's R.C. Church, Ho Ho Kus and a member of the Daughters of Penelope AGATE Chapter 336 of St. Nicholas G O Church, Wyckoff, NJ. Surviving are her sisters, Edith Savastano of Palm Springs, CA, Sylvia Fogliani of Rivervale, NJ, Gloria Freeland of Little Falls and her brother, Gerald Di Petrillo of North Glen, CO. Also surviving are 19 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass Friday 9:30 am at St. Luke's R.C. Church, 340 Franklin Tpk. Ho Ho Kus, NJ.
