Obituary of Elizabeth De Graff

De Graff, Elizabeth "Betty", age 88, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Born in Paterson, she was a resident of Wayne and Toms River before moving to Crystal River, FL. A homemaker, Betty also worked as a practical nurse and, in retirement she volunteered at the Homossassa Springs Wildlife Center in Florida. She was a former member of Preakness Christian Reformed Church, in Wayne. Betty is survived by her four children: Beverly and husband Jerry Harris of Gilboa, NY, Roy De Graff and wife Jackie of Crystal River, Karen and husband Ron Steiginga of Hawthorne and Janice and husband Kevin Leach of Crystal River. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren and her sister Dorothy Tol of Laurens, NY. Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband Henry in 1983. Friends may visit the family on Monday, 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, 10:30 AM at the funeral home followed by interment in Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.
