Obituary of Richard Hornby

HORNBY, Richard, age 59 of Midland Park, died Friday, June 18, 2010. Born in Clifton, Rich lived in Midland Park for 34 years. Rich was in the US Navy from 1968 to 1974 and then was a Systems Technician for Verizon in Midland Park. He is survived by his wife Patricia, his children; Carrie Hornby of Midland Park, Rick and his wife Terri of Hoboken, and Donna Hornby of Midland Park, his grandson Brendan and 2 granddaughters Brianna and Joie. He is also survived by his sister Sandra Hartmann of Woodland Park, and his mother-in-law Frances McGee of Wyckoff and his sister-in-law Priscilla and her husband Charles Restaino of Dimock, PA. Visiting hours will be Tuesday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ, www.vpfh.com. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home. A private cremation will follow.
