Obituary of Virginia Van Soest

Van Soest, Virginia (nee Broadfield), age 90, of Franklin Lakes, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at her residence. Born in Passaic, NJ, Virginia has been a resident of Franklin Lakes since 1949. She has been a member for over 60 years of the Eastern Star Peace Chapter 98, Clifton, NJ. Virginia is survived by her two sons; David and his wife Nancy Van Soest of Totowa, NJ and Robert and his wife, Joan Van Soest of Montville, NJ. She is also survived by five Grandchildren; Jennifer, Steven, Dan, John and his wife, Michelle, and Gary Van Soest. She was predeceased by her husband, Garret Van Soest in 2005 and her sister, Ila O'Brien in 2000. Friends may visit the family on Friday, 2-4, 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ, www.vpfh.com. Funeral Service will be Saturday, 9:30 AM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, NJ.
