Obituary of Katherine Prusack

PRUSACK, Katherine, 91, of Ramsey, died on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at her residence. Born in Saddle River, the daughter of Emil and Annie Matson, Katherine had lived in Ramsey since 1945. During World War II, she worked for Allied Products making medical packs for the armed forces and for many years, had volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader. Katherine is survived by her nephew Robert Matson and his wife Lisa of Johnstown, PA, her niece Trudi Prusack Derbyshire and her husband Les of Oakland, NJ and her great niece Colleen Pope. Katherine is also survived by her beloved dog, Kammi. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1973 and by her daughter, Patricia Prusack in 2002. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com , 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral service, Thursday, 10:30 AM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home.
