Obituary of Robert Carino

CARINO, Robert, "Bob", age 80, died on Sunday, May 30, 2010. Born in Paterson, he had lived in Oakland for 42 years before moving to Midland Park 10 years ago. A graduate of the University of Maryland, Bob also served in the US Marine Corps and taught for the Oakland Board of Education from 1956 until his retirement in 1989. He is survived by his children Cathy Pescatore of Midland Park, Robert Carino of Montclair, Barbara Carino of Ridgewood, Michael Carino of Caldwell, Margaret Carino-Ganias of New York City, NY and Paula Carino of Brooklyn, NY, and his 8 grandchildren: Joseph, Jessica, Matthew, Jane, Jack, Alexander, Philip, and Luke. Bob was predeceased by his wife Helene in 1999. The family will receive friends and relatives of the deceased from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm on Saturday at the Olthuis Funeral Home with a service at 12:00 pm at the Olthuis Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 159 Godwin Ave., Midland Park, NJ.
